I have been referring clients and their newborns to Rosemary Brown for several years now.

Great effort is made by her staff to have my clients and their babies seen as soon as possible, quite often the same day or at the latest within a day or two. Without exception, each client has reported back that they have been very happy with her and the treatments she has provided. They have found Rosemary to be compassionate, caring and gentle when communicating with them and while providing treatment to their little ones. They often comment on how surprised they were to see how quiet their babies were during the treatment(s). A plan of treatment is discussed during the first visit so that it is known from the outset what to expect with regard to the type of treatment needed and approximately how many sessions will be required. When applicable, she has also taken the time to teach my clients treatments or massages that they could do at home to help expedite the treatment.

I am writing this letter to recommend the services of Rosemary Brown.

Upon moving from Victoria, BC to Ottawa, ON in 2000 and setting up my doula practice, I was eager to make connections in the community with professionals whom I could refer my clients to. Rosemary’s name came up over and over again as she had an excellent reputation specifically in the birthing community working with newborns who had a difficult entry into the world or who were suffering from other ailments.

I’m writing this letter as a reference for Rosemary Brown and her CranioSacral practice. I’m the owner of Milkface Nursingwear Inc here in Ottawa. We are a breastfeeding and babywearing boutique and have been in business for 8 years.

When we opened our Westboro location in Ottawa 3 years ago, we were very fortunate to choose a spot just two doors down from Rosemary’s practice. Over the years we’ve developed a mutually beneficial and friendly relationship and her move to Victoria has been a great loss to the Ottawa breastfeeding community. We would often see customers coming from Rosemary’s or on their way with their new babies. Babies who had had a difficult birth, who were having trouble breastfeeding or who had colic were all treated by Rosemary with really nice results. Our customers would speak very highly of Rosemary and the success they’d had with breastfeeding after the CranioSacral treatments.

As an La Leche League Leader myself, I would often refer moms to Rosemary for help with breastfeeding difficulties. All the moms who went were very happy with the sessions and the results and credited Rosemary for helping them breastfeed.
